I have been actively involved in the FIX Protocol community since the 1998, when electronic trading in the securities industry was still in it's infancy. Back then there wasn't any available commercial FIX engines let alone a robust open source community. All we had was the FIX specification document and a build it yourself objective. Since those early days, I've spoken at many industry conferences throughout North America, Asia, the U.K. and Europe and had articles about electronic trading and systems integration in numerous trade publications such as Security Industry News, Wall Street & Technology, the A-Team Group, Advanced Trading among others. I've also served officially as the Global Cross Asset chairman. Prior to founding Gamma Three Trading, I was a Vice President of Product Management at Linedata Services, Inc., a leading provider of front-to-back office solutions.
